Custom Incense
Throughout the year, designers at Mailchimp create custom goods for our employee reward and recognition program known as the Rainbow Room. All the products used are made by Mailchimp customers — each one a small business. Every season there is a new release, and for the Fall 2021 collection I designed a custom incense set with ceramic holder.
For the incense, I wanted to create a scent to increase focus and improve concentration — both things that tend to lag at the end of the year. One of Mailchimp’s customers Botanica created a blend of peppermint, clary sage, and white tea. I took inspiration from vintage apothecary labels for the packaging and hand drew the different botanical notes.
Another Mailchimp customer, Heo, created custom ceramic incense holders with a marbled glaze to pair with the pack of incense.
